The BHCC University and Young Professionals Ministry is young and growing! We’re on fire to serve our congregation and Abilene. But why else should you come here? It is our goal and mission to not only grow together in Christian fellowship, but to reach out to the community, showing them the love of Christ as we serve them in whatever way we can

We’re more than just a class. We’re a family. And everything we do, we do with Christ as our center!

  • Attend our Bible classes every Sunday (9am) and Wednesday (7pm).
  • Serve the children of the congregation by teaching a Bible class
  • Men can lead a devotional and short talk on Wednesday nights in class or in the assembly
  • You can volunteer to lead, act, or puppeteer during Children's Bible Class (CBC) or Vacation Bible School (VBS)
  • Participate in our Class-led worship service at University Place Retirement Home every 2nd Sunday evening of the month
  • Be a part of our main tradition: Devotionals and meal every 2nd and 4th Sunday evening of the month. We've had cookouts, smores, hayrides, volleyball at Sonic, and Pictionary tournaments, just to name a few!
  • And much more!

BHCC is a place where everyone can help serve and no one is overlooked, where everyone is welcome and no one is turned away, where visitors are treated with handshakes and banana bread just for coming, and where we strive to be the friendliest congregation in Abilene.
